All of the flavor, without any of the heat. If you’re like us, then you love jalapeno peppers. But there’s one problem with them, they’re so darn spicy. If you’re craving that Chile flavor without the heat, here’s the way to go about it:
1. Cut out the seeds- Most of the capsaicin (shat causes the hotness) is located in the seeds.
2. Remove the ribs- The seed clusters attach to the inner part of the chile with white ribs.
3. Remove the inner layer of the flesh- You’ll be left with a thinner pepper, but you’ll have all of the flavor with a greatly reduced heat flavor.
